What Can You Do For Me?

May 1, 2026

Every client meeting starts with this question, even when they don't say it out loud. Here's what I actually do — and more importantly, how I think about solving problems that matter to your business.

What Can You Do For Me?

Every conversation with a potential client or stakeholder eventually boils down to this question. Sometimes they ask it directly. More often, it's the subtext underneath "tell me about yourself" or "what's your background?"

After 12+ years building software, I've learned that the real answer isn't a laundry list of technologies. It's about the problems I solve and the value I create.

I Build Products That Actually Ship

I've worked at Snapchat, Backbase, and 84.51°. Across fintech, conversational AI, and consumer tech at scale. The common thread? I ship.

Not prototypes that sit in a repo. Not proof-of-concepts that never see production. Real products that real users interact with every day.

I specialize in full-stack development — Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular — whatever the stack requires. But the stack is never the point. The point is building something that works, that scales, and that people can actually use.

I Connect AI to Reality

LLMs and conversational AI aren't just hype to me. I've built actual systems with OpenAI and other AI platforms that solve real business problems.

Not "wouldn't it be cool if..." demos. Systems that handle edge cases, manage costs, and degrade gracefully when the AI does something weird (because it will).

I know when to use AI and when a simple rule engine is better. I know how to structure prompts, manage context windows, and build UI that makes AI features feel natural instead of bolted-on.

I Understand the Business Side

Fintech taught me something critical: code is only valuable when it solves a business problem.

I've built banking platforms where downtime means regulatory issues. I've optimized systems where every millisecond of latency costs money. I've designed APIs that third-party developers actually want to use.

I speak both engineer and business. I can translate "we need to increase conversion" into technical architecture decisions. I can explain technical debt to non-technical stakeholders in terms they understand and care about.

I Work Fast Without Breaking Things

Speed matters. But not the kind of speed where you move fast and break things, then spend three months fixing what you broke.

I use Supabase because it lets me build production-grade backends in hours instead of weeks. I use TypeScript because catching bugs at compile time is faster than debugging production incidents. I use Next.js because its conventions prevent entire classes of problems.

I've learned which corners are safe to cut and which ones will bite you later. I know when to refactor and when to ship.

I Make Your Team Better

Senior engineers don't just write code. We make everyone around us more effective.

I do thorough code reviews that teach instead of criticize. I write documentation that answers the questions people actually have. I set up architectures that junior developers can work in without getting lost.

I've mentored developers at every level. I've led technical initiatives across multiple teams. I've been the person who shows up at 2 AM when production is down.

I Solve Problems You Don't Know You Have Yet

The best engineering isn't reactive. It's spotting the problem six months before it becomes a crisis.

I see when a database design won't scale. I notice when an API structure will make future features painful. I recognize when technical decisions are boxing you into a corner.

And I speak up about it, with solutions, not just complaints.

So What Can I Do For You?

Here's the honest answer: it depends on what you need.

If you need someone to build a production-ready web application from scratch, I can do that.

If you need to integrate AI into your product in a way that actually makes sense, I can do that.

If you need someone to come into an existing codebase, understand the mess, and make it better without rewriting everything, I can do that too.

If you need someone to join your team, ship quality work, and make everyone around them better — that's what I do.

Let's Talk

I'm not the right fit for every project. I don't do WordPress sites. I don't build mobile apps in native Swift or Kotlin. I'm not a designer, though I can implement designs that designers create.

But if you're building a web application, integrating AI, working in fintech, or need a senior engineer who can work across the full stack and communicate with the business side — let's talk.

You can reach me through my website, LinkedIn, or email. Tell me about your problem, and I'll tell you if I'm the right person to solve it.

No sales pitch. No buzzword bingo. Just an honest conversation about whether I can help.
